Video of the Week: The 2012 auction of the most expensive Tucker ‘48 ever sold
To mark its half-century in business, Barrett-Jackson has posted a look back at few extraordinary vehicles from the past 50 years.
In this video, Craig Jackson and Steve Davis discuss the sale of Tucker 1043 which remains the most expensive ever sold at auction. Two bidders went head-to-head raising the price from $1.5 million to $2.60 million in less than 30 seconds. The final hammer price was $2.65 million. Adding Barret-Jackson's commissions, the final price was $2.915 million.
