Yes, This is such touching short. Definitely shed a tear of joy as I feel the warmth in my heart.

Definitely hit close to home this holiday season!  Unfortunately not all endings are as happy as this.  But have to count our blessings for 99 1/2 years (mother-in-law nearly made it having passed just before Thanksgiving).  Thanks for sharing Howard.

I know this works well Rita’s Mom passed this spring at 96 but if we played songs from her past she would sing along and smile and be with us for a while. I call it the “bucket” effect .Our oldest memories are like the water at the bottom of the bucket but today’s breakfast spills out of the bucket. God bless Chevy for making a great commercial, I hate the ones where all they do is speed through the snow or streets, I think they add to the reckless driving today. Happy Holidays to you all and thank you Howard for this great website.

Really great. Right up there with “where’s the beef?” or the “Mr. Owl” Tootsie Pop commercial. I work with people that have advanced dementia, and the saddest thing about this is that usually this doesn’t work. They are mostly gone. My mother started to get this way before we lost her. It’s called “the long goodbye” because we have to watch our loved ones fade away before our eyes before they die. But it’s wonderful to see some attention to this.
