Kleiner’s Korner: 1908 Vanderbilt Cup Race Illustrations
As he had done in 1906, Robert Edgren again portrayed the 1908 Vanderbilt Cup Race through his illustrations in the "New York Evening World". As sports editor, he was able to convey his view of the race (many times not very positive) through pictures and his own words. All material from Oct. 24 and 26, 1908.
