In 1936 the Vanderbilt Cup Races returned to Long Island with the new Roosevelt Raceway built in Westbury.The winner of the race was the great Italian driver Tazio Nuvolari in #8 Alfa-Romeo. His victory was captured in this exciting newsreel.
